I would like to install plastic floor glides under the Pax wardrobes, as I need to move one of the wardrobes once a year (underfloor heating).
Does anyone have experience with this?

If you install, for example, 6 casters on each side panel so that the cabinet floats about 1–2 mm (0.04–0.08 inches) above the floor, it will be especially easy to pull out. Since PAX should generally be secured to the wall, it also cannot be accidentally moved.

Herr rossi15 Nov 2015 12:53Hi Hamburgerjung,
I have the same issue with my control panel for the floor heating system. I simply cut a "window" out of the back panel and bought a larger piece at the hardware store, attaching it over the opening with Velcro strips.

hamburgerjung_558215 Nov 2015 14:02Hello Mr. Rossi,
that is a good idea, but unfortunately the box is positioned awkwardly, exactly between two elements, so the side panels end up in front of it.
Therefore, that will not work. That’s why I’m considering using floor glides (parquet flooring, so it should slide easily). You could install some kind of folding bracket on the wall so it can be unlatched when you want to move it.
Best regards
