I have a question. About two weeks ago, I bought a kitchen from IKEA, and my best friend’s father, who is an electrician, connected the induction cooktop for us. After connecting it, we tried to test everything, but nothing works and there is power at the socket. He measured everything. My question is, if I go to IKEA to exchange it, will it be exchanged immediately, or how does the process work?
I would appreciate a quick response.

just a quick question: is there no pot on the cooktop, or does it not turn on at all?
If it’s the latter, you should contact the manufacturer. The phone numbers are listed in your user manual. Please have the serial number ready, which is located underneath or on the side of the cooktop. They will usually arrange an appointment with you quickly to have the cooktop checked at your home. Since Ikea did not install the cooktop, you should have the electrician’s invoice available. If it turns out that the cooktop was not connected correctly, the electrician will be held responsible.
Therefore, please do not go to Ikea, as this concerns an electrical appliance and not a damaged cabinet or similar. Follow the above procedure, and you will likely be sent home again and advised to contact the manufacturer yourself.
Best regards
