Hi @ll,

does anyone have an idea of how much this could cost?
I can’t get anyone at IKEA on the phone who can tell me.
My local installers refuse or brush it off when they hear the device wasn’t purchased from them—they all say, “No, we don’t do that.”

Maybe someone knows someone who can install this in the Rhine-Main-Spessart area.

I would appreciate any tips.

Hello,

try asking IKEA directly. They also have an installation department for transport, and they can/are allowed to do that. Just do yourself a favor and don’t start modifying it yourself, thanks.

Thanks, Mav...

I had thought about that too, but I guess I’ll have to go there in person after all.

I originally planned to order the stove online and have it delivered,

and arrange for the connection to be done externally.

I’m definitely staying away from gas, I will follow that advice, no worries.

Hi @ll,

I went to IKEA today and wanted to buy the oven,

but they couldn’t connect me with a technician/installer.

No idea why, usually the customer takes care of that themselves,

finding someone to install the oven.?!?!?!?!?

There’s no one in my town who will install IKEA ovens, they refuse, great!

A forum member contacted me and offered help, let’s see

if he’s qualified. Otherwise, I’ll try MyHammer. We’ve found tradespeople through MyHammer before.

If anyone knows of a better option, please let me know.

The stove is installed and working perfectly.

The only annoying issue was that it still needed a gas hose and a connector, which cost an extra 150 units, so be careful when purchasing and keep in mind that additional costs may apply, aside from the labor costs for the installer.
