Hello everyone,

I have a 220cm (86.6 inches) tall cabinet and wanted to arrange it as follows...

Remaining
40cm (16 inches) microwave
60cm (24 inches) oven
10cm (4 inches) drawer
20cm (8 inches) drawer
20cm (8 inches) drawer
Feet

Now I have about a 3cm (1.2 inches) gap between the 10cm drawer and the oven. Is this because of the 20cm (8 inches) module system of Metod?
Do I really have to build the oven with either three 20cm drawers or two 20cm drawers? (module system)

OK, I could lower the rails that hold the shelf supporting the oven by using Spax screws, but is that officially allowed?

Right now I’m thinking that I would then also need a door above of 50cm or 70cm (20 or 28 inches), and those don’t exist either...
AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hello, use an installation guide for an IKEA oven as a reference during installation.

Ah, thanks, now I get it... At the branch, they did print out instructions for me, but there were no measurements shown... Perfect... thank you. So it’s a 20cm (8 inches) grid after all – everywhere

Hello, use the installation manual for an IKEA oven as a guide for the installation.

I just noticed that I don't have the strip shown in the PDF...
However, I have to admit that I am reinstalling a NEFF oven that was already built in on the upper floor into the ground floor. Maybe it comes with such a strip.

The trim strips are available for individual purchase at IKEA.

Set consisting of a long gray metal strip, two U-brackets, and screws.

The designer offers them if you are installing ovens or combination appliances.

To avoid misunderstandings, the two linked articles are only covers for cut edges to close off shortened drawer fronts (used as filler panels).

Of course, the oven can also be installed at a height of 50 cm (20 inches), but then a 10 cm (4 inches) drawer panel must be used both below and above it.
