Hello
I would like to know which individual components make up a Faktum kitchen cabinet (base cabinet, wall cabinet, or tall cabinet).
Even when I place a single cabinet, e.g., FA527, into an empty kitchen using the online planner and then check the parts list, I can see that handles, feet, kickplates, and door dampers are added, but the FA527 itself is still listed as a complete unit.
I did find a complicated way:
On the IKEA website, select the FA527, then under product information, go to Packaging & Weight and click on “more info.” This provides a list of how many and which boxes you need to transport.
Each box has an order number, and if you enter this number on the website, you get the individual component (for example, a door) of the FA527.
Is there an easier way to get the individual parts of a cabinet?

You can also click on "Local Price" and then select "request quote" to see all individual items, including article numbers and stock locations at your IKEA store.

I don’t know of any other way.

I once built an Access database and entered the data for all items I was seriously considering.

Then I could generate an order list with quantities, and get a consolidated list showing the exact quantity needed for each item, along with unit prices, stock locations, and all necessary details.

It’s a bit of fiddly work to enter all the master data initially, but after that everything goes pretty quickly...

(I come from a software background, so this kind of thing comes quite naturally to me... 😳 )

Basically, you are right, it is a bit complicated.

But:

When I add a cabinet to my planner, I can already see in advance what I need:
1 x cabinet,
1 pack of feet,
1 pack of handles,
1 pack of hinges,

However, if that is too complicated for me, I go to IKEA and have a shopping list printed out from my plan. There, everything I need is listed.

You can also click on "Local Price" and then select "check availability" to see all individual parts, including item numbers and storage locations at your IKEA store.

Great, thanks!
Although the Austrian IKEA website does not have a "Local Price" option, you need to select "Check product availability." This list then also includes the item description in addition to the item numbers, which is an improvement compared to my previous method. However, I took a base cabinet with 3 drawers as an example and entered all the item numbers on the IKEA website. I was able to see the individual products except for the two large drawer fronts. There, I always received a message saying the item number was not found. I tried the same for different fronts (Stat, Nexus, etc.) and also checked on the IKEA Germany website, but the two drawer fronts do not seem to be available on any of those sites. Only on the English IKEA website did I find them. Does anyone know the reason for this?

Now to my main question:
The reason I wanted to see the individual parts was to find out what is included with the FA171, which is the base cabinet for the large Domsjö sink. The website lists:
Cabinet carcass, 2 hinges, and 2 doors.

My questions are:
- Can soft-close mechanisms (door dampers) also be installed on the doors?
- Which internal fittings do I need for this base cabinet to accommodate multiple bins for waste separation?

Although the Austrian Ikea website does not have a "Local Price" option, you need to select "Check product availability."

This was also the case in Germany until recently. Perhaps the design update will come to your site as well...
However: I took a base cabinet with 3 drawers as an example, entered all the order numbers on the Ikea website, and all individual products were displayed except for the 2 large drawer fronts. I always received a message that the order number was not found. I then tried the same for different fronts (Stat, Nexus, etc.) and also on the Ikea Germany site. The 2 drawer fronts do not seem to be available on any website. I only found them on the English Ikea website. Does anyone know why???

This is because the upper 13cm (5 inches) drawer can also be purchased individually. For example, it can be combined with a 57cm (22 inches) door.
Unfortunately, the two lower drawers are not sold separately (for whatever reason). You need to buy the "drawer front set of 3." This comes in 2 packages: one with the 13cm (5 inches) front and one with the other two fronts.

This is because the top 13cm (5 inches) drawer front is also available separately. You can, for example, combine it with a 57cm (22.5 inches) door.
Unfortunately, the two lower drawer fronts are not sold separately (for whatever reason). For those, you need to get the "3-pack drawer fronts," which consists of two packages: one with the 13cm (5 inches) front and one with the other two fronts.

I don’t think that is entirely correct.
There are also tall cabinets where only these two drawers are installed without the narrow top drawer. Ikea assigns a separate article number for this product, for example, 90136023 for the Nexus front. However, this article number cannot be found on the website. For example, Ikea lists 90136023 under "local price" for FA112 (base cabinet, 3 drawers) and also for FA753 (tall cabinet, 2 drawers).
On an English Ikea website, I also found the product itself, meaning only the two lower drawer fronts as one item.
