ᐅ How can I obtain all the individual components of a kitchen cabinet?

Hello
I would like to know which individual components make up a Faktum kitchen cabinet (base cabinet, wall cabinet, or tall cabinet).
Even when I place a single cabinet, e.g., FA527, into an empty kitchen using the online planner and then check the parts list, I can see that handles, feet, kickplates, and door dampers are added, but the FA527 itself is still listed as a complete unit.
I did find a complicated way:
On the IKEA website, select the FA527, then under product information, go to Packaging & Weight and click on “more info.” This provides a list of how many and which boxes you need to transport.
Each box has an order number, and if you enter this number on the website, you get the individual component (for example, a door) of the FA527.
Is there an easier way to get the individual parts of a cabinet?
Best regards

IKEA-Experte13 Aug 2012 15:37Until quite recently, only the two front panels for the pull-outs were shown. I think either someone assumed that customers wouldn’t realize they might also need to include the drawer front, or many customers were genuinely confused, which led to frequent inquiries.
For the domsjö cabinet, the standard hinges are specified, onto which you can always attach soft-close dampers. However, I wouldn’t recommend buying hinges from IKEA; instead, I suggest using hinges with built-in soft-close mechanisms. This is more elegant and ultimately more cost-effective. I’ve posted a separate thread about this here.
Since the sink cabinet is not offered with pull-outs, I assume that there isn’t much space left because of the siphon under the large sink. Otherwise, I would choose 80cm (31.5 inches) pull-outs instead of doors, along with the matching pull-out fronts. Maybe someone else can provide more details on this. The only IKEA waste bin pull-out alternative would be 201.107.43, unless something new is introduced with the new catalog year (Utrusta = successor to RATIONELL?).

Sektionschef13 Aug 2012 21:07Thank you!
May I ask a few questions regarding this:
I’m particularly interested in point 4, as I want to buy a new IKEA kitchen and it would make sense to purchase the Blum BLUMOTION 71B3550 mounting plate cover caps mentioned there instead of the IKEA hinge dampers.
You mentioned that one damper per door is sufficient. Does this also apply to point 4, meaning should I buy one Blumotion hinge and one IKEA hinge per door? Or should I buy two Blumotion hinges per door?
How does this work with tall cabinets? For example, the FA527 has two doors. The parts list shows that it is equipped with 2 pieces of 50105863 and 2 pieces of 70132375 hinges. Can I replace both IKEA hinges with Blumotion ones? Do larger doors require more than one Blumotion hinge?
What about the IKEA wall cabinets? We want the Lidingö with glass doors. Are Blumotion hinges suitable for these as well?

IKEA-Experte13 Aug 2012 21:58Something worth knowing, which I didn’t mention back then and should add now. If you use the 71B3550 for screw mounting, you need to drill the holes out to 6 mm (0.24 inches) with a drill bit (this takes just seconds) and attach the hinge plate with two euro screws about 12 mm (0.47 inches) long (e.g., IKEA part no. 100347).
For the 71B3590 with Inserta cup hinge, the 5 mm (0.2 inches) holes on the door must be drilled out to 8 mm (0.31 inches).
I would only use full hinges with BLUMOTION. Depending on your needs, the damping can be switched on or off with a button. Wherever 701.323.75 is used, you can replace them with the soft-closing Blum hinges.
If you have pull-outs behind a door in a tall cabinet (not for wire baskets), you need the 155° hinges. As I mentioned, IKEA does not offer dampers for these, but Blum 973A7000 (not to be confused with 973A0700) can be clipped on.

Sektionschef13 Aug 2012 22:37Thank you again for your reply. I learn something new every time.
What do you mean by:
"I would only use full hinges with Blumotion"?
Do you mean that if I use one Blumotion hinge, then all hinges on that door should be Blumotion?
Wouldn't the Blumotion solution then become more expensive? Since I only need one overlay damper per door.
There is one more thing I don’t understand:
Why do I not need a 155° hinge for tall cabinets with wire basket pull-outs?
Doesn’t the wire basket require the same door opening angle as a drawer pull-out?
Is the difference between the IKEA hinges 50105863 and 70132375 that 50105863 is a 155° hinge?
And can the 973A7000 be attached to the 50105863?
Best regards

What do you mean by:
"I would only use hinges with Blumotion."
Do you mean that if I install one Blumotion hinge, then all the hinges on that door should be Blumotion?
But won’t the Blumotion setup be more expensive that way? After all, I only need one overlay damper per door.It depends on whether price or appearance/functionality matters more to you. The number of soft-close hinges needed depends on the size, weight of the door, and your personal preference for damping. Blum also offers hinges without damping. Whether these are cheaper or more expensive than IKEA’s, you’ll need to look into yourself.
By the way, if you don’t want a door to open fully because it would hit another cabinet in a corner, the opening angle can be reduced with a clip—but not with the 120° hinge like the INTEGRAL—instead only with the 110° hinge, such as those with built-in Blumotion.
One more thing I don’t understand:
Why don’t I need a 155° hinge for tall cabinets with wire basket pull-outs?
Doesn’t the wire basket require the same door opening angle as a drawer pull-out?The 155° hinge shifts the door slightly outward when opened so the pull-out won’t hit the inner door edge. The wire basket is a bit narrower and will pass the edge even with the 120° hinge.
Is the difference between IKEA hinges 50105863 and 70132375 that 50105863 is a 155° hinge?
And can the 973A7000 then be attached to the 50105863?Yes.Best regards
