Hello everyone!
I’m really frustrated right now. We bought a Pax wardrobe system. On the left and right, there are two 50cm (20 inches) Pax units, each 236cm (93 inches) high. In the middle, there are two carcasses, each 100cm (39 inches) wide. For these two carcasses, I bought Sekken sliding doors. They have really tested my patience… especially the decision to replace the frame and glass elements. Now I went to IKEA and picked out Hasvik doors instead. I’ll pick them up on Monday.
My question is: Are the sliding rails for the Sekken doors the same as those for the Hasvik doors? Because I’d like to avoid removing the rails. The sales assistant in the Pax section said they were different, but the customer service lady checked on her computer and said they were the same. Does anyone know if they are the same?
Best regards

IKEA-Experte14 Jan 2017 19:26Hello,
if the assembly instructions show the Sekken and Hasvik tracks the same way and use the same fittings with rollers, it is reasonable to assume that the tracks are identical. To reduce costs, IKEA also tries to use standardized parts across as many products as possible.
Either way, once you have the new door, you can directly compare the tracks and only replace them if they are different. Then you can return SEKKEN with either set of tracks.
