Hello everyone,
I am currently planning to buy new wardrobes for a shared apartment in a larger city and have been looking into the Ikea PAX systems. My question to the community is: which of the many Ikea PAX variants do you think are especially suitable for shared apartments? Important aspects are flexible use, storage space for individual needs, easy assembly, and adaptability to different room sizes.
Are there models that work particularly well for dividing storage space per person, or ones that can be easily modified if the shared apartment changes? I look forward to your experiences and recommendations!

Do you have any recommendations on the best way to divide the interior space for different users? Are there best practices for variable compartments per person in a PAX wardrobe system?I would reserve a fixed column for each person and separate them visually and functionally with dividers. It also helps to use separate baskets or boxes for smaller items.

I recommend the Pax systems with a height of 201 cm (79 inches) and a width of 50 cm (20 inches), equipped with mirrors for each section. This way, every resident gets their own area with a mirror, which helps with daily use and keeps things organized.

I find that especially the combination of a lower height (201 cm, 79 inches) and wider widths (100 cm, 39 inches) in various depths works well, particularly if you plan to use the wardrobe communally.
The option to install individual dividers also makes the wardrobe flexible for shared living situations.

This way, when moving or reassigning the room, you can quickly reorganize or replace individual modules.
