OK, but I don’t want to start a new thread and I’m also not willing to spend that much time on it right now, maybe next winter again. But thanks for your support!

@Kathi: How big is your house? We used 650 kWh in February. The average temperature was 1.9°C (35.4°F).

I assume you meant me?
Our house is 152 m² (1,636 sq ft). I don’t know the average temperature for our area. ^^

With a basement? Which region? Then I’d be happy to check.

Tough question... I know it uses a lot of electricity.
- Photovoltaic system 8.68 kWp, €12,000 gross, installed 22 months ago
- Battery storage 6.4 kWh, €5,800 gross, installed 10 months ago
- Additional 2.58 kWh battery ordered last week, €1,500 gross

Whether the battery storage pays off or not is debatable. The photovoltaic system was never really intended to support the heat pump to the extent it has over the last 10 days and even run it for free. Normally, February is as dark as December and feels like it produces almost nothing.

I had no ill intent 🙂 The question was just out of interest.

Be careful that it doesn’t get too cold during the transition period. Better to try 25°C (77°F) or 21.5°C (70.7°F).

Thanks, I’ve changed it. But now it’s heating again, I’m worried! 😀

Without a basement, northern Germany (Ammerland)

From January 31 to March 2, 536 kWh of electricity was used for heating and hot water, despite a few hours with the electric heater element, which is about 18 kWh per day. I am satisfied.
@Bookstar how is your new setting working?
