If you have a photovoltaic system and that is the grid import meter, then these numbers could make sense. But without photovoltaics, there is no way to achieve these figures with an air-to-water heat pump and household electricity. Absolutely no chance. On your two days, my total household consumption was 53 kWh, which is 2 kWh less than yours at that time. I already posted my grid import including photovoltaics.

This is the total household consumption since 06.05. with photovoltaics and storage:

I don’t have photovoltaics either and can only report what my electricity meter shows.

Guys, what are your current energy consumptions like? Yesterday I used 21 kWh at an average temperature of -1°C (30°F). I think I would have easily used around 30 kWh before.

Now, over the last 4 days with an average temperature of 4.5°C (40°F), I’ve used about 20 kWh. So nearly as much as at -1°C (30°F). However, we had continuous wind and no sun at all.

Average temperature 3°C-4°C (37°F-39°F)
Consumption yesterday approx. 20 kW

Compressor has been running continuously since March 7.
Supply line 30°C (86°F) Return line 28°C (82°F)

At this temperature, my ladies love me :-)

Protective thermostat with digital display showing 26.9°C (80.4°F) and rotary knob mounted on wall.

Today we received our annual statement.

Electricity costs (approximately 5500 kWh grid consumption, 7700 kWh total usage, of which 4800 kWh is household electricity, the rest for the heat pump) amount to about €1470. A loyalty bonus of €95 was deducted from this.

Feed-in tariff from the photovoltaic system is nearly €800. Overall, I think it’s not bad at all. Currently, there is a €200 loyalty premium, so I went ahead and renewed the contract immediately.

And you definitely set your wife’s mood when she does the next steam session half-naked in the living room 😀
