ᐅ IKEA Besta Cabinet Is Warped – What Can Be Done?

Hello,

I bought some new Besta cabinets for my living room. After assembling the carcass of one cabinet along with the drawers and door, I unfortunately noticed that the carcass is warped, causing the top door to rest on the drawer front. What can be done to fix this issue? Or is an exchange the only option?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

My opinion: Look at the gap in the middle. The frame is not crooked. You just need to align the door properly.

The doors need to be adjusted by turning the hinge screws.
However, the user manual that comes with each door explains this!

Move the cabinet to a different spot; it will probably be level there. The floor must just have some unevenness.

It definitely has a nailed back panel; was it nailed at a right angle?

Thank you for the responses. In fact, my floor is much more uneven than I initially thought. At least the cabinet is now standing straight, but aligning the door was still quite a challenge; it seems to be either warped or simply too heavy for the hinges. Well.

I have the same ones. They can be aligned nicely, although it is a bit tedious at first.
