ᐅ IKEA Besta Cabinet Is Warped – What Can Be Done?

Hello,

I bought some new Besta cabinets for my living room. After assembling the carcass of one cabinet along with the drawers and door, I unfortunately noticed that the carcass is warped, causing the top door to rest on the drawer front. What can be done to fix this issue? Or is an exchange the only option?

My apologies, here are three pictures attached. I hope it’s clear what I mean. By applying slight lateral pressure, the cabinet carcass can be moved into the correct position, but unfortunately it doesn’t stay there. Does anyone have any ideas?

Did you use a spirit level to align the feet?

Most likely, it is not the cabinet that is warped but the floor, and since Ikea products often have only minimal rigidity, the entire unit warps to match the shape of the underlying surface.

Simply screw it straight to the wall.
