Hello everyone,

I’m looking for creative solutions for designing Pax corner cabinets. Specifically, I’m seeking inspiration and practical tips on how to use these often inflexible corner units in a visually appealing and functional way in a room. I’m interested in both clever interior layouts and exterior design ideas – for example, with special doors or additional elements to maximize space utilization. Who has experience with unusual or innovative approaches that go beyond standard configurations? It would be especially helpful if you could share examples of how storage space has been maximized and which complementary furniture pieces or custom constructions have proven effective. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

For more storage space inside the Pax corner cabinets, simply combine shelves and pull-out drawers.

On the outside, sliding doors are often helpful, especially in rooms with limited space.

Additionally, you can integrate LED lighting to create ambiance and improve visibility.

Basically, the goal with Pax corner cabinets is to improve space efficiency through modular interior fittings. This means:

- Adjustable shelves at various heights,
- Pull-out baskets for better accessibility,
- Rotating or carousel shelves designed specifically for corners.

These combinations truly ensure maximum use without sacrificing storage capacity.

Regarding the exterior appearance, I recommend sliding doors or custom-made door fronts to visually expand the space. A matte or light-colored finish helps avoid a cramped feeling.

Additionally, I would like to point out the option to equip Pax corner cabinets with lighting systems. Enhanced interior lighting not only improves usability but also helps with organization. Optional motion sensors are particularly useful in this context.

Furthermore, when it comes to corner cabinets, it is crucial to consider the door mechanism: hinged and folding doors require more space in front of the cabinet, while sliding doors optimize space utilization.

Therefore, the interaction between door type and interior fittings is a key consideration during the planning phase.

To optimize the design of Pax corner cabinets, it is important to first determine your exact needs – which items will be stored there and how often they will be accessed?

This allows for an efficient interior layout:

- Frequently used items in easily accessible drawers,
- Infrequently needed items stored higher up or lower down,
- Custom inserts (shoe racks, clothes rails) installed accordingly.

Using a planning tool can be helpful to explore different scenarios and find the best solution.

If you want to design Pax corner cabinets optimally, you should first assess your exact needs – which items will be stored there and how often will you need access to them?

Very good point, thanks. I am mainly concerned with the combination of clothing (mostly jackets and coats) and seasonal accessories that I don’t need to access frequently. Are there smart solutions in corner cabinets that address both needs, offering quick access while keeping things stored out of sight?

Another important aspect for corner cabinets is the door mechanism: swinging and folding doors require more space in front of the cabinet, whereas sliding doors optimize space usage.

How reliable are these sliding doors? Do they tend to get stuck sometimes, or do they stay smooth and flexible? This is important to me since the cabinet is located in a tight corner of the room.
