Hello everyone,
As mentioned above, we want to get a robotic lawn mower to start the spring season.
Which ones do you use, recommend, or avoid, and why?
Does it have to be a Husqvarna, or is a Worx also good enough? Why one and not the other?
I’m very interested in hearing about your experiences.
Best regards
Tarnari

Tomorrow I will let the mower run a test.Sunday work, hope the robot mower doesn’t protest for more money. Thanks again for the recent tips.
Today, I managed to at least lay the boundary and guide wires. I only temporarily placed the boundary wire so I can still adjust it if needed. I installed the guide wire underground using an edging tool because I’m worried the little one might get hurt stepping on the staples, as some of them do stick out a bit.
That’s all I got done for now.
The rest will be done tomorrow. If it turns out the robot runs smoothly, I’ll also bury the boundary wire.

A fundamental question again.
Gardena recommends specific daily operating times for each Sileno model, depending on the model and its capacity relative to the intended lawn area.
It is mentioned that this should be adjusted if the device is oversized.
However, the manual only provides recommended operating times for fixed lawn sizes and does not offer guidance on how to adjust this for devices designed for larger areas.
Does anyone know how this should be managed? Our lawn is about 250 m² (2700 sq ft), but the robot is designed for 1000 m² (11,000 sq ft). Should I simply divide the recommended operating times by four?

The 1000m2 (0.25 acres) option allows for long mowing times, meaning you can schedule long and short mowing days (children, pets, rest periods).
We started with 6 hours per day,
1.2 hours mowing,
1 hour charging,
1.2 hours mowing,
1 hour charging,
1.2 hours mowing, then finished for the day.
For our lawn of about 300m2 (3,230 square feet), this was sufficient. In midsummer, we started at 6 a.m., and in autumn at 11 a.m. due to the grass being wet.
