Hello everyone,
As mentioned above, we want to get a robotic lawn mower to start the spring season.
Which ones do you use, recommend, or avoid, and why?
Does it have to be a Husqvarna, or is a Worx also good enough? Why one and not the other?
I’m very interested in hearing about your experiences.
Best regards
Tarnari

Cool story. It reminds me of my biology teacher from the late 1980s. He had a bunch of animals. When his goat was pregnant, he brought her to school, and she ended up urinating all over the staff room.
Also funny was when his donkey was pregnant, he asked in class if anyone could take care of it during his two-week vacation. My then-girlfriend volunteered. So for two weeks, a donkey stood in her parents’ typical suburban garden. They were very relaxed about it, and it became a highlight in the neighborhood.

Cool thing.
… Yes, they mow and fertilize in one operation and don’t require electricity—except possibly for the fencing. They also reproduce themselves and are edible.
Their intelligence is so-so … but sufficient 🙂
Possibly a bit impractical during winter …

Please, to get back to the main topic: Currently, Luna mows 5 days a week—3 days mowing, then a day off, then 2 days mowing, then another day off—at a height of 3.5cm (1.4 inches). I would like to lower it to 3cm (1.2 inches) as long as the temperatures allow, partly because of the really annoying crabgrass. I’m considering changing the schedule to mow 5 days in a row at 3.25cm (1.3 inches), with a second day off where I use a reel mower to cut down to 3cm (1.2 inches).
Do you think this makes sense, or is it a bad idea?

I bought the Ferrex (landxscape) from Aldi, which covers about 750 m2 (8,070 sq ft) for us.
At a price of 349.00 euros unbeatable.I have that one too, it’s perfect for our 250 m2 (2,690 sq ft) lawn area.I have a small question about the lawn edging... maybe someone can help me!?
Would it be possible to use granite stones (split/rough, not smooth!) as lawn edging for the robotic mower (Gardena)?
I happen to have some in 16cm by 16cm or meter-long pieces available here, or would that be problematic because of the uneven surface?
Thanks in advance! :-)

I happen to have some in 16cm x 16cm (6 inches x 6 inches) or meter-length pieces available here. Or is that rather unsuitable because they don’t have a smooth surface?
Thanks in advance! 🙂 If you mean something like this (not sure how to angle the photo):
That works perfectly. Our Gardena Luna passes over it without any problems.
