Hey,

which location would you prefer for the electrical outlet?

In the corner on the exterior wall or next to it on the interior wall?

I have never heard of that. Why would he be reluctant to do it?

Because of the airtightness and the building envelope – related to some KfW requirements.

Use airtight boxes; they cost just a few cents more.
In a monolithic wall construction, you naturally reduce the insulation performance if you reduce the thickness of the masonry.

Hello

I installed an electrical outlet in the wall next to each window frame (not directly in the frame, but in the masonry). At Christmas, as now, every window is illuminated without many visible cables.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the outlet layout attached in the first post?

Thank you!

A power outlet with LED lighting placed centrally near the staircase. This is enough to gently illuminate the entire hallway without having to turn on the main lights. Especially at night, when you need to use the bathroom, it’s very convenient.

I’m missing a LAN connection in the study or bedroom, since you mentioned that the names should be different. I wouldn’t save on that 150€. Or has TV always been off-limits for you?

There is no LAN socket for an access point. It would fit nicely on the left wall near the heating control unit. It’s fairly central and you can place a cabinet in front of it. Or behind the doors in the guest room or study. Perhaps a TV connection for the guest room as well?

Do you like floor lamps? Then have switchable power outlets installed.

LAN and satellite outlets will be installed in the guest room, bedroom, and office. An access point is planned to be mounted on the ceiling in the hallway. Was the outlet with an LED meant to serve as a nightlight?
