Hello,

we are currently looking for ideas for a light fixture in the hallway on the first floor. I am attaching two pictures. The ceiling height at the power outlet is about 3.3 meters (11 feet).

So far, we have mainly considered pendant lights, but due to COVID-19, visiting lighting stores has been difficult. The fixture should be modern and timeless, a real eye-catcher, but above all, it should not cause glare when looking in or upwards. Preferably LED-based, of course.

Do you have any suggestions?

Good luck, fab101

Bright hallway/stairwell with white walls, open cable from the ceiling, door on the left, wooden floor.

Modern staircase with white cupboards, wooden railing, and open door to utility room.

How about some attractive wall lights? Or a chandelier as an ironic contrast?

Spontaneously, I also thought of a cloud lamp, specifically the Belux Cloud or Cloud XL.

Alternatively, I could imagine a light fixture that doesn’t shine directly downward but works with reflectors.

For example, as a pendant light, the Artemide Pirce Sospensione LED, or as a ceiling light, the Reflex2 300M from Serien Lighting.

What I personally like but didn’t fit in our space is something like the Flos Ladina, an oversized light bulb, or a glowing balloon like the Brokis Memory.

Simply a very flat LED panel with a very slim frame. It can then look as if there is a skylight.
Someone once posted a picture of it here, but unfortunately, I didn’t even know what to search for.
I just noticed while googling that they are even available with a foil covering or with a simulation of sunlight movement...
