Hey,

which location would you prefer for the electrical outlet?

In the corner on the exterior wall or next to it on the interior wall?

In the end, it still costs only half as much compared to what an electrician would charge.

In the end, that’s also the only thing that makes a difference. You can burn the fifty and still have more of it. That’s the point of the matter.

Here is the corner related to this:

That way, the usable space on the left wall wouldn’t be reduced by the sockets if they were positioned next to the window.

Hmm... The electrician had no issues with the exterior wall.
Hello,
question about your picture.
If you are already having sockets installed there, why not make the roller shutter motorized right away?

@DieterG
Doesn't a motor also need to be installed in the roller shutter box?
Honestly, I have no idea what preparations would still be necessary...

At most, with an electric belt winder, which would be placed in the opening and would only require power.

At most an electric strap winder, which would go into the opening and only need power.

The motor is installed in the roller shutter tube.
I am currently renovating a bathroom; I have the switch next to the door, the cable runs upward along the suspended ceiling, and from there back down to the roller shutter box. I foam insulated the strap winder box as well as the strap passage to the shutter box. It cost me about 120€ for the Somfy... motor; I didn’t need the supplied switch and all the plastic parts for the tube—the motor alone would have been enough and costs, I believe, under 80€.
You can also place the switch where your strap winder box is located.
