Hey,

which location would you prefer for the electrical outlet?

In the corner on the exterior wall or next to it on the interior wall?

Well, clearly this is not suitable for a junction box.

I am currently considering whether to outsource the additional boxes externally instead of having the general contractor’s electrician do the work.
Plus a few other network/electrical tasks.
"My" electrician also has no objection if I supply the materials myself, which ends up being somewhat cheaper when I compare prices.

What is the wall construction? This makes a big difference. Poroton, drywall (plasterboard), timber frame, or sand-lime brick—there are significant differences between these.

Poroton bricks and some drywall

Hmm, then it’s quite simple and quick. Both create quite a lot of dust (so a vacuum cleaner is necessary). It shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes for a professional.

Does the general contractor allow this so easily? Is the electrician directly employed by the general contractor or was the electrician hired through a tender or subcontract by the general contractor? Couldn’t the general contractor’s electrician arrange the work with you separately, meaning you simply get a quote directly from the electrician without going through the general contractor?
Have you asked who will be responsible for the warranty on the electrical installation?
