Hey,

which location would you prefer for the electrical outlet?

In the corner on the exterior wall or next to it on the interior wall?

The general contractor (GC) has no problem with this. The electrician was hired by the GC but is an independent company. Of course, I requested a quote from the GC’s electrician.

Ah, okay. It will probably go in that direction for us as well.
Since we also use Poroton bricks, the conditions are similar to ours. How deep do you set the electrical boxes, and are these boxes airtight (meaning more sealed boxes)?

I don’t know what the general contractor electrician is installing, but "my" electrician has included airtight junction boxes in his quote.

Make sure he actually installs airtight ones. They cost about 5 to 6 times more than regular boxes. Whether they are absolutely necessary... no idea. We have them too, but I would have preferred to save those few extra dollars.

Since I can provide the materials myself, an airtightness test from Kaiser only costs me about 90 cents.

And the other 10.
