ᐅ Repairing Scratches and Defects on PVC Flooring

I am renting my apartment, and over the years, my PVC flooring has developed several deep scratches and damaged areas. It is especially bad around the desk, where I roll my chair back and forth. The flooring was installed in one continuous piece. When I move out, do I have to replace the entire floor covering, or is it technically possible to renew only certain sections? Are there any other methods to repair scratches on PVC floors?

The video is amazing. Thanks a lot for sharing it. I’ll have to check if I can get this material here. In any case, it looks much easier in the video.

It’s not only easy to look at, it really is easy!
The same manufacturer also offers a sealant similar to what is used on hardwood floors. With this water-based 2K coating, a heavily worn PVC floor, linoleum, rubber, etc. can be easily restored. It’s called Turbo Protect and is also “top quality,” but it absolutely must be applied by a professional. By the way, I got it from the same supplier in Herisau.

These are really useful pieces of information, and from what I can see, it’s aimed at an experienced craftsman. Thank you very much for your tip. My husband has some work to do nearby next week, and he will take a look at it.

Thank you for the video, we definitely need to get that as well. We are not moving out, but we also have small scratches on our PVC flooring. It doesn’t look good.

Unfortunately, this video comes too late for me. Years ago, I had a similar problem in my rental apartment. I also had some scratches in the floor, and the landlord insisted on installing a new floor. That was an expensive experience for me back then.
