ᐅ Question about the Ikea Faktum Domsjö double sink (dimensions)

SmokeyHello IKEA fans,
We are currently planning a renovation of our existing Faktum kitchen and have chosen the Domsjö double sink. Unfortunately, it will likely be quite tight with the water fixtures in the sink cabinet. These are located relatively far to the right edge of the cabinet carcass. The Domsjö has "supports" on both the left and right sides that extend all the way to the wall. I need the dimensions of the sink base cabinet. Can someone tell me how far the "supports" extend vertically and horizontally into the carcass?
To clarify what I mean, I have marked the measuring points in the image below:
Best regards,
Christoph

IKEA-Experte6 Mar 2015 17:29Hello, I don’t have a DOMSJÖ to measure, but the photo is fairly distortion-free, so you could measure the width in the picture and use IKEA’s specifications to determine the scale. If the connections are positioned that high on the wall and space could be tight, exact measurements will be necessary. Perhaps a DOMSJÖ owner will chime in as well.
Do you have the Faktum or the Metod Jelimi model? The Metod series doesn’t have these supports in the rear area at all; they end where the sink finishes, at the start of the countertop. The picture is from an online video. Maybe there are more models? Jelimi, if you have a Faktum sink: could you describe what your sink looks like or take a photo?
