Hi everyone,
Although we now have quite a few samples at home, we still haven't found a good alternative to the Parador Modular One Oak Pure Natural.
In terms of design, we find this floor almost perfect for us, but despite its usage class 33 rating, it seems quite sensitive to scratches. Because of the need for durability, we prefer vinyl flooring.
Do you know of a more durable vinyl floor that looks as close as possible to the mentioned Parador floor?
Most floors we’ve seen are either too dark, too light, or don’t have a "warm" appearance (meaning they look a bit gray).
Do you have any suggestions, or would you recommend just going ahead and installing the Parador?

Thank you for the quick reply. Have you noticed scratches from regular use? Do you have children or pets? Why do you find the floor not durable? It is basically sufficient for everyday use. It has gotten scratches from the following:
- Sliding interior door
- Sofa moved, probably with some dirt under the feet
Not visible to the naked eye / barely noticeable, but we have a Dyson with a green floor laser, so every little detail is visible...

bartlomiej.sid3 Sep 2022 07:34Thank you. I might cancel the order.
I had to look up the color first. We installed Parador Natural Oak laminate flooring over 36sqm (387 sqft) in the living room. We have now also decided to use it in the hallway because it is quite durable. Maybe that could be an alternative for you if you don’t want to go with vinyl.

AdscheToennsen16 Oct 2023 13:45We are also considering installing this flooring and have taken some samples home from the home improvement store. These samples have already been handled by many people but still look flawless.
I tested the samples by rolling back and forth on an office chair and tried to scratch them with a key. No visible marks at all! The only way I managed to leave a scratch was by applying force directly with a utility knife. Apart from natural stone flooring, I can’t think of any floor that would withstand that kind of treatment.
Somewhere I read that someone was able to create scratches with their fingernails. I really wonder what kind of fingernails those must have been.
In short, I can’t relate to many of the negative experiences reported, even though I approach products quite critically myself. I would also point out that this flooring is installed in many thousands of apartments and houses—however, you rarely hear from those users because they don’t usually post in forums to share positive feedback.
We will go ahead with installing this flooring because it best meets our requirements at a reasonable price.
As a tip, I would recommend the GreenTec flooring from Egger. I find its surface just a bit better, although unfortunately, we can’t install it everywhere.
