Hello IKEA fans

I am currently considering whether IKEA offers a way to install an oven above a "small" refrigerator (100cm (39 inches)) in a tall cabinet. With other brands (see Attachment 1), this does not seem to be a problem, but in the IKEA kitchen planner, I can't find a suitable tall cabinet that offers a combination of refrigerator and oven. On the website, however, I found the Metod tall cabinet/cooler/oven unit, white (article number: 902.135.68 / Attachment 2). Can the shelves in this Metod cabinet be moved freely so that my refrigerator fits at the bottom, my oven in the middle, and possibly some storage space at the top? Is this cabinet also available in the kitchen planner?

Attachment 1:

Attachment 2:
Tall white metal shelving unit with three adjustable shelves, open.

Who can help me?
Thank you in advance

In principle, it is possible, but for a refrigerator that is 102 cm (40 inches) tall, you will need a door that is 120 cm (47 inches) high. With a base, the oven (if it is not a compact model) is positioned between 130 and 190 cm (51 and 75 inches) in height. You have to be quite tall to use the appliance comfortably at that height.

Even if you install only an 87cm (34 inch) refrigerator with a 100cm (39 inch) door, it is already quite tall.
For safety reasons, the highest installation level should never be above shoulder height.
Additionally, this naturally increases the refrigerator’s energy consumption.

And what happens if you reverse the setup and install the oven below the refrigerator? To what extent does the refrigerator’s power consumption increase if I install it under an oven?

Since warm air rises, this is even less energy efficient. However, the main issue is poor usability and the risk of injury when the oven is installed too high. If you want to place the oven under the refrigerator, you might as well install it below the cooktop.

If you build the oven underneath the refrigerator, the refrigerator will face a thermal problem and might not last very long.
