Hello,
I want to integrate the IKEA trash bin into my new kitchen under the sink and have chosen the Hailo 3631-63.
After looking at the installation manual
hailo-einbautechnik.de/img/Upload/pdf/Montage/3631-45_3631-46_3631-50_3631-51_3631-53_3631-60_3631-61_3631-63_3631-80_3631-90_3631-93.pdf
I’m not sure if the trash bin fits into the Maximera drawer.
The side parts of the bin are slid over the drawer’s rails and are supposed to align flush with the drawer. Does this work easily with the Maximera drawer? And should I choose a high or medium drawer for that?
Regards
Christian

Schmidti8222 Aug 2016 10:20Hello,
what do you mean by corner cabinet?
The lazy Susan cabinet? A standard 60cm (24 inch) cabinet at a 45° angle, or the one that is 128cm (50 inch) wide?
Basically, you could build it into a 60cm (24 inch) cabinet and attach a 40cm (16 inch) high drawer front.

(a 40cm (16 inches) high drawer fits)
I installed it directly under the sink as an 80cm (31.5 inches) high drawer front. A 37cm (14.5 inches) deep cleaning supplies drawer also fit above before the sink drain was installed.

For the corner cabinet, you will of course need to create a custom construction to attach the second side rail. Check out Ikea_Experte’s gallery; he built something like that...

@Schmidti82
Yes, a corner base cabinet (128 cm (50 inches)), but with a sink installed on top instead of shelves or a carousel inside.
And instead of a door, I’m thinking of pull-out drawer fronts.
@robi_aus_ffm
Yes, that’s exactly it! That’s exactly what I want to do, just in the corner base cabinet, and I understand that on one side I’ll need to create a mounting point for a rail.
I think a Euro-Cargo-S with its own pull-out will be better than one that is “inserted” into a Maximera drawer, right?!

robi_aus_ffm26 Aug 2016 12:59That is, like with many other things, a matter of personal preference...
For me, among other factors, the larger capacity (60 liters (16 gallons) bags fit perfectly) of the Hailo buckets was a deciding factor. With the IKEA buckets, you can also just leave off the lids and build a shelf above them...
You just need to make sure how much space you require behind the buckets for the siphon, water connection, drainage, etc.
