ᐅ IKEA PAX with Curtain – Which Curtain Rod to Use and How to Install It?

linmatHello everyone,
I would like to get a Pax wardrobe, but I am quite inexperienced and unskilled when it comes to DIY matters.
Therefore, I want to ask you for advice.
Instead of doors, I would like to "close" the Pax with curtains.
Could you, perhaps from your own experience, tell me which curtain rods from Ikea are suitable for this (heavy curtains are planned later) and how to install them?
Many thanks

IKEA-Experte3 Sep 2012 00:01The curtain rod fitting looks like the one included with IRJA.
Of course, the curtain can only be drawn up to the fitting. For the RÄCKA rod, two fittings are specified for a length up to 140cm (55 inches). If the cabinet is wider and you want to be able to draw the curtain across the entire length, I would choose Kvartal. You can attach the rails either to the cabinet or to the ceiling.
