Hello everyone!

We have purchased a triangular plot of land. As if that weren’t complicated enough, there is also a large oak tree that must be considered during the planning. In our initial considerations, it quickly became clear that the floor plan will have an L-shape.

Does anyone here have experience with this type of plot and a correspondingly shaped floor plan? What additional information is needed to get meaningful advice?

Best regards

Hello,

thank you very much for the update. It was not an easy path – I find the result quite appealing given the requirements of the plot.

Nice floor plan

Could you swap the entrance and the toilet? If I’m seeing it correctly, you would enter the house without any steps?

Looking forward to seeing how it develops

Within the given possibilities, I find it well done. I would make the door to the bathroom on the upper floor larger, as there is also the slope to consider beforehand.

Which sloping ceiling do you mean?

I mean the slanted exterior wall.

Now comes the time to evaluate the builders’ outrageous quotes...

Yes, that will be interesting.

I think the floor plan is fine. What really puts me off, though, is the distance the laundry has to be carried. Have you considered checking if it’s possible to include a laundry chute from the bathroom (upper floor) through that storage room (ground floor) to near the washing machine? Otherwise, it’s quite frustrating to carry everything all the way down and then back up again.
