mauseschaf10 Jan 2015 20:47Hello, we have taken over a used IKEA Faktum kitchen and want to install some 50cm (20 inches) and 30cm (12 inches) wire baskets (formerly Rationell). These are hard to find – does anyone know where to get them? We also need a set of 16cm (6 inches) legs.
Alternatively, do the Utrusta inserts fit into the Faktum base cabinets?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Ikeaner has already given a short and clear answer.
With Metod, you won’t find 30cm (12 inch) or 50cm (20 inch) wire baskets because they simply don’t exist. Metod is a modular system based on a 20cm (8 inch) grid. You can reorder parts in the Ikea online store. Click on Kitchen and scroll down a bit, where it says Faktum reorder.
And again, from me: no, Metod does not fit into Faktum, even when we’re talking about 20, 40, or 60cm (8, 16, or 24 inch).

There are other suppliers that offer such baskets. Alternatively, I could install shelves and use matching plastic baskets that I can take out.
I find this much more practical, especially for the narrow cabinets, rather than having to rummage around at the back.
