Are there special storage boxes for Pax wardrobes? I recently bought a Pax wardrobe from IKEA and am looking for suitable storage boxes or organizers that are precisely tailored to the dimensions and interior of the wardrobes. Is there an official option from IKEA or recommended third-party suppliers? I want to make the most of the space, especially for smaller clothing items and accessories, without everything looking cluttered. I would appreciate any experiences and tips.
I understand well how frustrating it can be when everything inside a closet is disorganized. I also spent a long time experimenting before I found the right combination of boxes and dividers for my Pax wardrobe.
Maybe this tip will help you: try using transparent boxes or ones with open sides – this way, you can see the contents better, and it doesn’t feel so overwhelming.
Even though there aren’t any specific Pax boxes, you can create a lot of order with smart combinations. And if you want, I’m happy to help you check your measurements and suggest suitable solutions.

There are no official Pax boxes from IKEA, only shelves and drawers. Exactly. Additionally, I recommend using extra organizers or inserts in the drawers, especially for smaller accessories.

Skubb often fits well. Check the dimensions and then buy suitable boxes. Exactly, and one more tip: especially in apartments with limited storage space, it’s worth investing in boxes with lids to keep dust out.
To summarize: there are no official Pax boxes, but there are many helpful system solutions that can be combined to create customized organization.

The general storage boxes, like the Skubb series, are therefore the best compromise that works well. A practical advantage is that the wardrobe’s modular design allows for flexible adjustment of internal dimensions. This way, small discrepancies can be compensated for by adjusting drawer heights and shelves.

This does make it flexible, but it complicates the production of perfectly fitting boxes. This is a very important point that I can only emphasize.
The Pax wardrobe is popular precisely because of the many variations in size and interior fittings. For organization, this often means you need not just individual boxes, but an overall system made up of different components.
Personally, combinations of drawer inserts, pull-out boxes, and transparent fabric boxes have worked best for me. Together, these provide nearly custom-fit solutions without the need for bespoke items.
