Hello everyone, I am currently planning the interior fittings for a Pax system in the office and looking for recommendations on which shelves, drawers, or internal accessories work best for practical and organized use. The focus is on a modular solution that can adapt flexibly to changing needs, for example, for file folders, writing tools, or technical devices such as cables and charging stations. Does anyone have experience with Pax systems in the office and can offer tips on which interior fittings from the range are truly useful for maximizing storage space while maintaining a neat and tidy appearance? Are there any particular combinations that have proven to be effective? Thanks in advance!

The interior fittings in the PAX system for the office should be well planned to make the best use of the available storage space. Generally, I recommend using a combination of shelves at different heights. The adjustable shelves allow for storing file folders (DIN A4 width) or stacks of papers without wasting vertical space. It is also practical to plan some shelves as removable to quickly create more space for larger items when needed.

For smaller office supplies, such as pens, cables, or chargers, drawer inserts are useful. These should ideally be pull-out and divided into compartments to keep everything organized. Many also choose pull-out clothing rails or hooks to keep bags or jackets within easy reach.

I am also interested in the planned width and depth of the PAX wardrobe for the office. Are you using the 50 cm (20 inch) or 58 cm (23 inch) system? The wider model often offers more flexibility but requires more floor space. Additionally, will devices such as printers or scanners be stored inside? Depending on usage, it may be advisable to integrate special inserts with cable pass-throughs and ventilation holes.

As a general recommendation, the version with door racks and interior lighting increases convenience since you can quickly see where everything is. I look forward to hearing your exact plans so I can offer more targeted advice.

For PAX units in the office, I recommend shelves combined with drawer inserts. This way, you can store binders lying flat and keep small items well organized.

To optimize the interior setup of the PAX wardrobe in the office, I recommend a clear and structured approach:

- First, analyze the storage needs: What items will be stored mainly? File folders, office supplies, electronics?
- Next, choose the appropriate fittings: For file folders, additional shelves that are ideally height-adjustable are perfect. They help prevent wasted space.
- For small items, pull-out drawer inserts are useful and can be combined with compartments of various sizes.
- Cable management is often underestimated: Use cable grommets or special internal components to keep charging cables and power strips organized.

A common mistake is to store everything on fixed shelves without using flexible elements. This quickly leads to wasted space. It’s best to try out different combinations before placing the final order.

Could you also let us know the size of the wardrobe and if multiple people will be using the space?

Thank you for the detailed post. The PAX is 150 cm (59 inches) wide, 236 cm (93 inches) tall, and 58 cm (23 inches) deep. It is a shared office space, so two people use the storage. It mainly stores folders, files, and tech accessories. It is also important to me that small items like USB sticks or pens can be found quickly while keeping everything looking tidy. Your recommendation about cable management sounds very interesting—what exactly would you suggest?

For a PAX wardrobe measuring 150x236x58 cm (59x93x23 inches) and used by two people, I recommend the following interior setup:

- Several height-adjustable shelves to store binders of various sizes perfectly.
- Pull-out drawer inserts, preferably with multiple small compartments for office supplies.
- Cable pass-throughs made of plastic or metal, which can be placed on the back or side panels to keep charging cables organized.
- A combination of open and closed compartments creates flexibility for storing electronics and documents.

The modular design of PAX allows relatively inexpensive replacement or adjustment of individual elements if needs change.

Central lighting inside the wardrobe area improves visibility, especially with deep compartments.
