Hello everyone, I am currently planning the interior fittings for a Pax system in the office and looking for recommendations on which shelves, drawers, or internal accessories work best for practical and organized use. The focus is on a modular solution that can adapt flexibly to changing needs, for example, for file folders, writing tools, or technical devices such as cables and charging stations. Does anyone have experience with Pax systems in the office and can offer tips on which interior fittings from the range are truly useful for maximizing storage space while maintaining a neat and tidy appearance? Are there any particular combinations that have proven to be effective? Thanks in advance!

Your recommendation on cable management sounds very interesting, what exactly would you suggest?

Good question. Especially with PAX systems used in an office, cable management is often key to improved functionality. I recommend the following steps:

- Use cable grommets that can be installed in the back panel or the rear of shelves. They visibly reduce cable clutter.

- For power strips, mounting them on the back of a cabinet or inside a drawer with ventilation holes is advisable.

- Cable clips or Velcro straps help keep cable bundles organized and prevent loose hanging wires.

- Optionally, small cable management sets attached to the side panels can be used.

It is always important to allow enough space for air circulation to prevent power supplies from overheating. If electronic devices are stored permanently inside the PAX unit, I recommend good ventilation and sturdy shelving.

The interior fittings of a PAX unit in the office need to be well adapted to the specific usage scenarios. For a double workstation with high storage capacity, the following is also recommended:

- Separate sections for each user with clear assignment of drawers and shelves
- Use of drawer organizers with adjustable compartments to neatly separate items such as technical accessories and writing instruments
- Consideration of ergonomics: frequently used items should be stored within easy reach

I find the suggestion of interior lighting very sensible, as it greatly improves visibility, especially in deeper cabinets.

I agree. To add: LED lighting systems for PAX wardrobes are widely available nowadays and easy to install. They not only improve visibility but also offer energy efficiency due to their low power consumption.

Additionally, I would recommend using sturdy shelves made of metal or metal framing when storing heavy binders to ensure long-term stability. Plastic shelves can bend under significant weight.
