since I am not an expert in this field and want to avoid making mistakes, I would like to know your opinion.
We have purchased a newly built house from a developer, and currently the electrician is working on the property. A high-voltage connection is planned for the garage. However, an electric or hybrid car is not planned within the next 1-2 years. Does it make sense to have a wall box installed right away because of the current incentives? At least that is what the electrician suggested.
Or is just running the cable enough for now (is there any funding for that)? How would you proceed?
Thanks for your advice.

However, it is important to have a proper cable cross-section installed in advance.
With a 10mm² (12 AWG) cable, you are prepared for most situations.
Three-phase power means three phases (400V). Your electrician will know what is possible, as this also depends on your main power supply.
Unfortunately, I don’t know if anything specific is required here.

I would definitely recommend having a high-voltage cable installed during construction. It can be connected later whenever you need it.
Our main utility provider (Westnetz) had a long-running promotion where the electricity connection was free if you opted in to be considered for e-mobility. There were no requirements to have a wallbox installed at that time. This was likely done to plan the capacity reserves for the new development area.
