Hello everyone,
since I am not an expert in this field and want to avoid making mistakes, I would like to know your opinion.
We have purchased a newly built house from a developer, and currently the electrician is working on the property. A high-voltage connection is planned for the garage. However, an electric or hybrid car is not planned within the next 1-2 years. Does it make sense to have a wall box installed right away because of the current incentives? At least that is what the electrician suggested.
Or is just running the cable enough for now (is there any funding for that)? How would you proceed?
Thanks for your advice.

Ouch, that was stupid of me, I actually meant 600 euros^^ but you still know what I’m getting at with my question.

Either I misunderstand you or I don’t understand your problem:

600 EUR: 300 EUR are reimbursed.

800 EUR: 400 EUR are reimbursed.

1000 EUR: 400 EUR are reimbursed.

I read it as the lower amount between 50% or 400 EUR is reimbursed.

900 euros. Sounds very good, but it probably has to be a smart charging station. Those are usually a bit more expensive, right?

Yes, only smart charging stations are supported. In other words, those that can communicate with the power grid to, for example, limit or vary the charging power.

KNX (and others) send their regards.
