Hello,

We are currently planning the kitchen and the question came up: traditional built-in oven or elevated oven? The current stove in the old house has a standard oven at a low level.
It is only used a few times (roughly 10 times) per month for quick frozen meals (pizza, fish, etc.) or reheating bread rolls. There are no regular baking sessions like daily cakes. We would also like to have a pull-out oven rack now.
What experiences have you had with your ovens?

I also find it practical at a young age. We chose to install the dishwasher downstairs in the corner. If it needs to dry a bit longer, you can leave it open without it being in the way. I think – as always – it depends on the overall planning.

I would rather consider installing the dishwasher upstairs since it is used multiple times a day, unlike the oven which is only used every few days. If you have enough space, you can of course place both upstairs.

Both upstairs.

One does not exclude the other. However, when you are young, it hardly matters because the body tolerates a lot.

Personally, I would only buy one with a side-hinged door from now on. We've had that for several years and wouldn't want to do without it. Of course, there aren’t as many models with this feature, but I think it’s worth it.

What are the advantages of this type of door?

I disagree. Oven with slide and hide door, when built-in at eye level...
