I’m especially interested in whether certain tasks consistently cause problems, possibly related to lack of experience or specific tools. Please provide detailed answers— which manufacturer instructions are not very helpful, and at which steps should one be particularly careful? I’m looking forward to exchanging experiences!

For me, aligning the cabinets and precisely installing the fronts is the most challenging part. It becomes especially difficult when the walls are not completely straight.

- Aligning and leveling the cabinets precisely: I always recommend checking all walls with a spirit level first. Only when the cabinets are perfectly positioned will the handles and doors work correctly later.
- Installing the rails and guide elements: These must be installed with exact precision; otherwise, the drawers may catch or jam.
- Attaching the countertop: Depending on the room and material, this can be a challenge, especially when cutouts for the stove or sink need to be made.

Tip: Always measure everything carefully beforehand, and don’t screw parts in too quickly – it’s better to check multiple times.

I can completely relate to that. The first time, I really doubted whether I could manage it. The repeated adjustments were quite frustrating, but I persevered in the end, and it was worth it. This is simply a critical step to avoid frustration later on.

For me, installing the shelves with the clips is always complicated. The instructions are quite basic, and it is difficult to position the clips evenly.

Connecting the individual cabinets to each other was the most difficult part for me. The fasteners sometimes feel impractical and require too much force.
