Hello community,
I wanted to reach out to you today with my "issue." I am self-employed as a craftsman and transport all my equipment in a van. Of course, everything is packed in boxes and secured with tie-down straps. However, perhaps influenced by the lockdown period, I have developed an interest in organizing. My next project is the van. I would like to install something that allows me to quickly and easily store everything. Does anyone know of any practical solutions or suppliers?
Looking forward to your tips!
Thanks and best regards
Martin

@superzapp:
This is interesting, even though it doesn’t apply to us. For example, a closed cargo area separated from the passenger compartment:
is the issue about the proper connection of the shelving to the vehicle body (which wouldn’t be a problem for commercial vehicles with factory-installed pressed mounting threads) or about securing things like toolboxes on the shelves using various fastening systems or mounting plates? Essentially, the individual modules, which can also be found used from well-known manufacturers, are available new in the same design and can therefore be expanded.
Don’t get me wrong, proper load securing is important and sensible, whether for commercial or private use!

The major suppliers are likely up to date with their products in terms of legal regulations. Additionally, you at least have some protection through warranty in case it doesn’t fit. When buying used, you will most likely end up bearing the costs yourself.
