steiner7222 Feb 2021 16:53Hello community,
I wanted to reach out to you today with my "issue." I am self-employed as a craftsman and transport all my equipment in a van. Of course, everything is packed in boxes and secured with tie-down straps. However, perhaps influenced by the lockdown period, I have developed an interest in organizing. My next project is the van. I would like to install something that allows me to quickly and easily store everything. Does anyone know of any practical solutions or suppliers?
Looking forward to your tips!
Thanks and best regards
Martin

What kind of craftsman are you? Can or want to work with wood? Maybe build something yourself then.
The carpenter’s vehicle looked tip-top. Everything was neatly organized in suitable compartments.
But not every craftsman had tidy vehicles: The roofer preferred construction buckets for transporting tools, as they were the easiest to handle on a ladder. Accordingly, everything was somewhat scattered around the van. Skilled, though.

Fummelbrett!23 Feb 2021 17:22We have a Vivaro van, long version. On one side, we installed shelves made of OSB boards for small parts boxes, L-Boxes, and similar items. Smaller compartments and holders for all the little stuff were added gradually. Everything is painted white – looks good and makes sense for everyday use. It is also precisely cut and costs only a fraction of what Sortimo does.

steiner724 Mar 2021 14:31Hello everyone,
I'm getting back to you a bit late. I am a painter and would actually prefer not to build something myself. Not because I don’t trust my abilities, but because I have been thinking about it for a long time and now want to "treat" myself to some professional help. I hope you understand what I mean.
I also came across Sortimo during my research. Do any of you have personal experience with it or know someone who has shared their opinion about it?
Best regards, Martin

Fummelbrett!4 Mar 2021 14:49Is there even any competition to Sortimo? If you’re willing to spend the money, you should get some advice, as far as that’s possible again. They should also have a showroom where you can look around and "test" the products.
I haven’t heard anything negative so far.
