I am currently considering whether to buy the TV stand Tobo and have a question that I hope you can answer.
Is it possible to replace the top drawer with one of the glass shelves or another board? The goal is to install my center speaker there!
And how much depth is available inside the compartments (the ones behind the glass door)? Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any information about this on IKEA’s website, and could it be that the TV panel is no longer available?

IKEA-Experte26 Jun 2012 23:56Take a look at the assembly instructions, and you’ll see that you can replace one drawer with a shelf. If necessary, you might have to drill a few holes for the shelf supports.
If you know the total depth is 50cm (20 inches), you can estimate the depth. Otherwise, just measure it at IKEA.
