ᐅ The IKEA PAX HASVIK sliding door cannot be hung (installed).

Hello,

we have just successfully assembled a Pax wardrobe that is 2 times 75cm (30 inches) wide.

Unfortunately, we cannot hang the sliding doors. When I hook the first door in at the bottom (in the correct position), the rollers do not reach the top. No matter what I do or where I try, there is always about 2cm (0.8 inches) missing.

Completely frustrated. Do you have a solution?

My son and my ego would appreciate a successful fix.

Isn’t it described like this for other Pax sliding doors in the instructions:
hang the lower fitting into the top of the track without fixing it first, and then insert and screw the lower fitting afterwards?

unfortunately not. According to the manual, first insert the bottom part into the front track, then install the rollers on top.

We still haven’t made any progress,
