Hey everyone

I’m planning to remodel my kitchen in a few months. I don’t have much space, about 10m² (108 sq ft), but I want to include a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and so on. The room measures 2 x 5 meters (6.6 x 16.4 feet), with the entrance at one end—not in the middle.

Thanks

Hello,
if you are planning a kitchen, make sure you have enough countertop space. This is a drawback in almost every kitchen I know. Often, it’s just a narrow strip, which is simply not enough. I would rather bend down than give up countertop space.

Use an induction hotplate; it heats up quickly, cools down fast, and you can install a charger directly underneath it, unlike with conventional hotplates.

Hello,
if you want to store a lot, a pantry cabinet is essential. You can keep many supplies there and don’t need to have something in every cabinet. This is especially helpful when cooking because you only have to make one trip.

Hey

Use a separate cabinet for spices, which can be installed directly next to the range hood since it doesn’t need to be very deep. Use small aluminum containers that can be stacked on top of each other.

A lot of wall shelves work well, then place the oven at eye level, so between additional "shelves," and the cooktop next to a work surface. The refrigerator needs plenty of space anyway, but it is better if built-in.
