Hello,
my heating system has been running for just over a year now. By chance, I recently noticed discoloration on the flow meters, see picture.
I filed a defect report with the general contractor, stating that the heating water appears rusty/sludgy, as evidenced by the flow meters. Their response was a casual statement that some discoloration on the flow meters is normal to a certain extent and that if there is a serious malfunction of the underfloor heating, it will of course be fixed.
Do your flow meters look like this as well?

cinderella212 Feb 2019 16:48I have already read all of this. Clearly, a magnetic and microbubble separator only addresses the symptoms and not the root cause. But it’s better than nothing. We can’t afford to have the pipes replaced because, as mentioned before, the floor would have to be removed to expose the pipes.

cinderella2110 Feb 2019 10:59@hystkai: And did your pipes suffer any damage from that? Or is everything still in good condition? We are just worried that all the pipes inside might start to rust or that the entire system could be damaged.

cinderella2112 Feb 2019 19:46Hello everyone,
Due to the water damage, we now have a rusty staircase (the water was leaking exactly between the white wall and the stair stringer).
What do you think? Is the rust coming from the rusty pipe and the water escaping, or is the staircase itself starting to rust?
In the end, the hallway upstairs would need to be opened up to replace the stringer.
Thanks for your opinions.
