ᐅ Remove interior escutcheon plate – Kera front door

Hello everyone,
I have a Kera front door and would like to remove the interior escutcheon of the lock so that the lock cylinder protrudes slightly and I can attach the mounting plate of the smart lock.
I have already tried turning the escutcheon, but without success. I haven’t tried prying it off yet, as I don’t want to damage the door.
Does anyone have experience with how to remove this escutcheon? It has an indentation at the top and bottom but no slot at the bottom.

I have the same issue and have already pressed the wood around the door with a screwdriver a bit.

Have you managed to find out how to remove the escutcheon meanwhile?
