Hello,
some time ago, we purchased a Pax wardrobe with Lyngdal sliding doors (50-100-100-50). Assembling the wardrobe was fine, but installing the sliding doors is really difficult (also due to their weight).
Now the doors seem to be properly hung. However, both doors strongly rub against each other in the last 20 cm (8 inches), and you really need force to separate them again.
What could be causing this? As mentioned, they appear to be correctly hooked in, but when closing, the doors keep hitting each other in the middle.
Thank you in advance!
Good luck
Frank

Hello, I assembled a Pax Lyngdal door last weekend.
I would recommend checking if the bottom guides are running properly in the corresponding tracks (step 24).
It may also be worth checking the stop adjustments, although they normally do not allow a 10cm (4 inches) gap.
I personally had an issue hanging the first door because the switch (step 19) changed position during the first hanging attempt, which I didn’t notice at the time.

That was quite a while ago, wasn’t it???
I think the case is already resolved.

mac*berlin27 Nov 2011 15:39Hello,
I have a problem with my Pax doors. The doors are high-gloss white without glass.
Hanging them works fine, one on the front track and the other on the rear track, no problem BUT
The doors keep slipping out of the bottom guide rail because the hanging fittings apparently are not seated properly. Does anyone have any tips on how I can fix this?
