Hello,

I assembled my new Pax wardrobe with two sliding doors more or less successfully yesterday. So far, everything fits well. It stands perfectly level, and the two large heavy glass sliding doors are installed and open and close without any issues. Almost. The left (bottom) door cannot be fully closed because it lifts out of the top track when closed completely, which causes it to fall forward. I am really running out of ideas:

- Adjusted the sliding door height and depth
- The safety latch or whatever it is (because it doesn’t actually secure anything) is clicked into position
- I have also pushed the plastic stopper blocker as far as possible toward the door, but unfortunately the door still does not catch there either

I am very happy to receive any creative and helpful suggestions! 🙂

Hello,
yes, we had the same problem.
We followed the assembly instructions 100% exactly, and that was actually the mistake. This latch/slider that is supposed to click is mentioned only once in the instructions, but in reality, it appears twice. If you also flip this second slider until it clicks, it should work.
Regards

I had attached this information to my question back then—including the frustration with the Ikea installers—but it was probably zen* uh deleted.
