ᐅ Looking for experiences with IKEA METOD kitchen islands

Hello dear forum,

The first kitchen is coming up, and after positive experiences with Ikea products, I want to stick with them.

Unfortunately, it has to be an island solution.
The current planning status is:
Metod base cabinets with sink
METOD wall cabinets
METOD kitchen island (140cm x 107cm (55 inches x 42 inches)) including oven
Ceiling-mounted range hood SVÄVANDE

Regarding colors and exact design, I will visit the store tomorrow.

Now my question about the dishwasher: I have heard negative feedback from friends and would like to switch to a Siemens model.
Is it possible to exchange it, or will I face problems with the cabinet fronts?
If I can switch, what should I pay attention to?
