Hi,

I have a U-shaped kitchen.
The shorter side of the U is about 120cm (47 inches) wide (clear dimension from cabinet to cabinet is 120cm (47 inches), and from handle to handle is 114cm (45 inches)) and only has a countertop.
In this area, there is also a radiator and the kitchen window.

I would now like to install base cabinets in this section as well. NOT METOD due to cabinet height of 70 or 71cm (28 or 28 inches).
I was rather thinking of Faktum instead.
Another issue is that I only have 30cm (12 inches) of space from the radiator. So I would need base cabinets with a drawer or similar that are only 25cm (10 inches) deep.

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be done here?

Hello,
you could shorten a 35 cm (14 inch) deep Faktum carcass in depth, install undermount slides, and build drawers for it.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.
Are there such guides for the dimension?

Do you mean 35cm (14 inches) wall cabinets? I haven't found base cabinets with a depth of 35cm (14 inches).

With FAKTUM, the wall cabinets were also used as base cabinets.

The Blum Tandem under-mount slides are available with a nominal length of 250 mm (10 inches) and require a minimum cabinet depth of 253 mm (10 inches). If you want them to be like the Maximera drawers, then the Tandembox Antaro would be the option with a minimum nominal length of 270 mm (11 inches) and a minimum available cabinet depth of 273 mm (11 inches).

Ok. Thanks for the tips.

I’ll see if I can manage that 😀
