Hello,

Has anyone here installed vinyl flooring themselves, and if so, how did it go?

We want to install vinyl planks in our house and have already chosen them. I will contact the seller again soon, but I would be happy to read some personal experiences here!

Yes, I can imagine that.
The issue with the vinyl flooring at your place is really frustrating! But since it seems to be happening only there, it must have been due to the installation margin...

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it can be fixed quickly and properly!

Our vinyl flooring is completely odorless. It does not expand at all. On the contrary, it starts to shrink, which I find even more annoying because it makes the seams visible. However, this only happens in one room. In all other rooms, it remains unchanged. I will probably contact the manufacturer as well.

Our vinyl flooring has now been installed, and there is absolutely no smell... This week we will give it a thorough clean, since you can’t really see how nice it looks yet!

I’m really curious to see how daily life with vinyl flooring will be.
