Hello,
Has anyone here installed vinyl flooring themselves, and if so, how did it go?
We want to install vinyl planks in our house and have already chosen them. I will contact the seller again soon, but I would be happy to read some personal experiences here!

I am curious as well. I will keep you updated.
We also considered vinyl flooring for the basement. However, when I smelled it at friends’ house—who, by the way, installed a German brand that wasn’t exactly cheap—after 2 years it still had a really strong artificial odor... no, thank you! Can anyone else share their experience?

As soon as you keep doors and windows closed for two days, you can smell it.
The problem is probably in the basement if there is no mechanical ventilation installed.

Hmm... then we'll skip that. I don’t want something that smells so strongly of plastic under my feet, let alone near my nose or my children playing on the floor, or even putting it in their mouths. It’s a shame.
