Hello!

In our new bedroom, we are getting a Malm bed in oak veneer, so the wardrobes in the adjacent dressing room should also be oak-colored. Unfortunately, on IKEA’s website, I only find the oak wardrobes (open, without doors) in 236cm (93 inches) height, and it seems the lower ones are only available in white now???

Do you know more? Is this just a temporary supply issue, or have the lower wardrobes been discontinued completely? We wanted to combine them with the Malm dressers in oak, and mixing oak and birch is really not my taste 😕

Or is there still a (decent) alternative to Pax?

Thanks and best regards

If you look at the PAX buying guides (available for download on the website), you’ll see that for the 201 cm (79 inches) frame, there are only white and birch options. Maybe an IKEA employee here knows if there will be any new options added to the range in the near future.

Is the Pax carcass available in 201cm (6 ft 7 in) in oak (p. 6)? Or is that an outdated document? The confusion is slowly becoming complete.

On the last page, it should state: Prices valid until August 25, 2012.
Enter Pax in the search bar at the top of the IKEA website, and you will immediately see the two purchasing guides suggested.
I only see oak for 236 cm (93 inches).

Thank you – then the link was an old version – what a pity 🙁
