Simply unscrewing might not be enough; in such cases, heating the adhesive points or using a spatula to loosen the countertop can help. Be careful not to damage the surface. Once you’ve freed one corner, proceed systematically, applying gentle upward pressure.

JULIANNALO31 Jul 2020 09:02Slowly pry up the countertop from the top side once the screws are loosened. If necessary, gently tap with a rubber mallet to loosen any tightly fixed spots, but be very careful. Small parts such as clips are often hidden, so check all sides as thoroughly as possible.
